I was a huge Game of Thrones fan. Huge. At one point, I described it as my “all-time favourite show“. And it was, until the last couple of seasons.
I watched the last season, season 8, and I became very active on Reddit. Specifically, on the freefolk thread. I’d describe my watching the show as a “hate watch”. I’d invested so much time into the story, I felt I needed to finish, even though I actively disliked what I was watching.
