Earlier tonight, we finished off some dijon mustard. As I put the empty jar in the recycling bin, I thought to myself: “Pardon me, Do you have any grey poupon?” And then I started laughing.
I know I’m dating myself, but it actually makes me sad to think about how many young people have never seen Wayne’s World. And, to date myself further: I actually got my first copy of Wayne’s World on VHS as a value add at McDonald’s – after I begged my dad for it. We used to go fairly often, for happy meals.
So I guess that’s when: Mike Myers was cool; McDonald’s was not considered “unhealthy” for kids; and VHS was a thing. You know, the good ol’ days. 😛
